Forklift - LF

General Information:
The course is designed to train participants up to the OH&S Competency Standards required for operators of loadshifting equipment.

For those seeking employment in a busy, yet flexible, industry with excellent employment prospects, the forklift licence ensures the operator a continuing source of work via a relatively easy training course.

Generally speaking, those with an understanding and ability to competently drive the family car, will easily adapt to the operation of the forklift truck.

A wide range of industries require the services of competent forklift operators.

Who should attend:
Existing operators who may require upskilling or students seeking to enter the loadshifting industry with a goal of enhancing their employment prospects.

Number of Participants:
1-3 per machine

Pre Requisites:
At all times, students must display a mature approach with regard to not only their safety but that of their fellow students. Students must attend in appropriate work attire i.e. no joggers, thongs etc and provide proof of identification.

Qualification/Certificate:
Nationally Recognized Certificate of Competency in the Workplace - Conducted in accordance with National Guidelines For Occupational Health & Safety Competency Standards For The Operation Of Load shifting Equipment And Other Types of Specified Equipment.

Duration:
This intensive 2 day course is designed for students with no previous experience in the operaton of the forklift. Again, daily rates are available for those students with previous, but limited experience.
